Magnificent And Vigorous—On Yan Chao’s Painting And Calligraphy Art

 Mr. Yan Chao is an artist with great achievements. I have known his for a long time. He gave me several his painting collections. I placed it on my desk reverently. Reading his paintings, I often feel enlightened and refreshing. Mr. Yan is proficient in calligraphy. He firmly believes in “Painting and calligraphy share a common origin.” ,“Chinese paintings are written out” and “Brush-ink is the primary in Chinese painting. ” He is good at great free-style  landscape painting and bird-and-flower painting. He is bold in and enjoys exploration. His paintings are magnificent and vigorous. His paintings inherit the tradition of literati painting yet full of modern flavor; they have wild vigor  yet keep some gentle taste.  I am going to appreciate his painting and calligraphy art from the following three aspects.
